Dommes with “real” jobs outside of this - How tf do you balance your time?
I just posted another question a min ago but this is my other one and I felt like it deserves its own post.
I was wondering for any of y’all who are in med school / law school/ nursing /working 9-5 corporate (finance, accounting, healthcare, consulting, tech, HR, education, etc), how are you balancing this?
I’m in one of the things above ^ and this past week I was slacking so badly at my actual job because I was spending so much f’ing time snapping these guys back and doing photos / videos to get sends. Sure, the money has been great. But…..I would wake up at 7 am and realized the whole day went by and I was staring at my phone the entirety of it. Then it was 9 pm and I’m like where did the day ago?? I spent time with friends but was checking my snap constantly, even when I was trying to enjoy my time outside. And if you ignore a sub for more than a couple hours they freak out. I was getting headaches from the phone light / screen time too. I was at home so it was slightly easier but I’m just thinking about when I have to go to my job in person this week how difficult this will be. I won’t be able to change outfits and take pics throughout the day.
How many hours do you actually spend on this a day? Maybe I’m putting too many hours in and need to work smarter not harder?
