Any Christian Latinos can help me figure something out?

Hey Y’all! I’m new here. A little background, I’m Catholic Puerto Rican and Salvadoran. My Salvadoran mother (non denominational) growing up used to say a prayer with us before we left the house that I remember but I don’t know all the words can anybody help me figure it out? The words I remember go something like this

“Gracias adios.. Señor.. para todo mal y todo peligro” I feel like it was asking for protection obviously but idk if its any kind of official prayer that others may know. Anyway if you think you know please let me know and help me! Thank you :))
