Is it weird to only give your number out after a first meet?

So a lot of guys normally want your number ASAP when they start talking to you on a dating app.

They don’t even know you, but they want your number. I gave my number out to guys without a first meet. They then became so sexual on WhatsApp. This made me change my number or block them.

They feel that now they have your number, they can do whatever they want

The way I do things now is, I always meet them through the dating app. So we meet through Plenty Of Fish or Tinder through the app.

So I never give my number out to guys without a first meet. It’s only if I like them after the first meet is when I give them my real number

Am I the only woman who does this?
