How will i manage my college life, if i have no friends

I will join engineering college this year, I'm a sc student from Bihar, will be joining in other state maybe oddisha, csab rounds are still left. I'm fearing that might be other students would ask me about my caste and state, being from lower caste and Bihar, how will handle them, and if no one would become friends with me then, i will probably not survive. I have been in boarding school, where rarely any caste discrimination was there. But if in college they would discriminate with me then how will i survive, i always need someone by my side. I don't want any relationship problem, any female friends or anything but i want someone to be my friend.
