Hi everyone,

Eversource is trying to make me pay a bill for a property I had already moved out of. I called them about a week after moving to disconnect my service, but apparently, they never processed it. Now they’re claiming I never called, and my phone number doesn’t appear in their records.

Unless I can provide proof—such as a phone number that contacted Eversource sometime in December or January to cancel service—they’re trying to pin a $3,000 bill on me.

It’s been a headache trying to prove my case. I’ve even offered documents from my new apartment lease to show I wasn’t living there, but they won’t accept them.

If anyone made a call to Eversource during December or January and could share the number that appeared on their caller ID, I’d greatly appreciate it. I honestly don’t know what else to do.

Thank you.
