Business student planning to shift from accounting to bsba major in HR (Human Resource)

Background: I am an incoming second year student, and I chose accounting because I graduated as an ABM student. It felt like it was a good choice since many peeps said that's it's easier to find a job and malaking chance na tumaas ang sahod. But after a year of studying in accounting, I really am not feeling my course. I would often feel anxious and pressured, like I'm not even looking forward sometimes for my major subs. I am actually someone who's in the creative side and I actually prefer words than numbers. The plan was taking tourism, but due to being anxious what will happen sa future I decided to choose this course. When I found about HR it felt like my skills would align more here. I like to lead, guide and talk to people. I love to organize people and train. I'm still in the process of researching pa if this career path will fit me.

Questions:

  1. Is it easy to (if ever I graduate an accounting degree) shift from accounting to an HR role in the future?
  2. Any thoughts about my background and the current issue I'm experiencing?
  3. Suggestions and recommendations
  4. Is the HR role in demand?
  5. As someone studying sa province (not much known school), do I still have the edge with skills alone?

I posted here because I wanna know your insights regarding sa corporate life and if I'm actually walking to the right path. Thankiee ❤️
