Mixed signals from an INFJ, is it all connected?

I tried reconnecting nearly 2 months ago with an INFJ guy I knew and felt like he wasn’t into the conversation as it was very brief and he ended the convo (by liking my message) and then I completely stopped watching his instagram stories (as I’d watch them consistently before), then after over 2 months, 3-4 days ago, I posted something and not only did he see it, he liked the post too which was a bit unusual of him since he’s usually selective of what stories he’s liked of mine imo. I made a post about this a week ago with more context and an outdated perspective on it, but to understand this post and question more thoroughly, I’d suggest looking at my previous post that I’ll link.

It’s just all so strange, like is it just me or does it look like his like was intentional, noticed my absence, and shows he felt bad for how our previous interaction went? I don’t really know if this means if he’s interested again now or if he’s simply just trying to be on good terms with me… but it’s a bit frustrating as I was just trying to move on from him and this happens.. a part of me thinks he may just want to stay relevant to me and feels he’s losing his grasp on me. Again, context will be attached to this link. I wonder what the chances are that he’ll reach out or if an INFJ is really likely to have a motive like that (just wanting to stay relevant to someone)
