[80s][Arcade] Side Scroll Space Shmup with Snake or Dragon

Estimated year of release: I know I played this game around 1988-1989

Graphics/art style: Snake dragons either in the background or possibly your ship? Going through tunnels...

Notable gameplay mechanics: 2 player simultaneous (I think) and it was fast. Everything moved fast.

Other details: I'm pretty sure it's not Gradius or R-Type.

I have been able to find all the obscure arcade games from my childhood except for this one.
