Question

Hey guys, I’m a student (M18) and about 2 months ago I started having stomach pain that began on my left side but now it’s more on the right and still on my left. I also have been constipated and seeing mucus and blood in my stool along with my stool being very inconsistent (I normally would go to the toilet 3-4 times a day now I only go probably once every other day). Ultrasound didn’t show much.

My Gastroenterologist wants me to do both a CT scan and a colonoscopy (he's taking it quite seriously). Where I live, I can get them done privately without waiting, but I have to pay out of pocket (insurance covers the CT but not entirely) and with student expenses, I can only afford to do one first.

Which would you do first in my shoes CT scan or colonoscopy?

P. S: this has been one hell of a month with these symptoms and the fatigue and anxiety are starting to get to me
