Family member bought Discord Nitro with my Google Play account. Valid refund?

So basically a young relative of mine was using my phone and bought a $10 Discord Nitro gift for someone using my card and Google Play. I didn't consent to the payment and didn't know about it until a few hours later.

Once I found out about the charge, I contacted Discord, but they said they wouldn't issue a refund because the gift was already claimed. They didn't even care that I wasn't the one to make the purchase. WTF?

So now I'm contacting Google Play. I submitted a refund request and explained to them the situation. So now I gotta wait up to 4 days just for $10. This is my first time requesting a refund and I did it within 48 hours. I didn't even know my card was linked to that Google account, so I didn't have any payment verification but I just set it up now.

Do I have a good chance of getting my money back? Has anyone had any similar experiences?
