The Old Country Unplayable

I am on a Lenovo Legion

LENOVO Legion 5i Pro 16" Gaming Laptop - Intel® Core™ i7 12700H, RTX 3070 Ti, 1 TB SSD. Game is installed on HDD.

The game is Unplayable at even the lowest settings. It will get 50-60fps and then suddenly freeze for a few seconds. And then motion again. And then freeze.

Updated my bios. GPU driver and verified integrity of game files in Steam.

It's not limited to transitioning to cinematics as most articles online mention.

Don't know what else to do. Any advice? Do I just need to move to SSD? Is it Unplayable off a HDD?
