Better base location for build?

Sooo I have currently set up a temporary bed and furnace in a plains ocean biome with a village very closeby and then I went like 1000 blocks away and found a plains biome surrounded by cherry grove mountains and forest. which one is the better build location? also there's no nearby village or ocean in the cherry grove area
