need thoughts on this dream

bro i keep seeing dreams of my ex, its the weirdest shit. I dont think about her, and i have a current gf ive been w for almost a year now. Idk why shes still poppin up in my dreams, 2 nights in a row as well

is there true meaning behinds dreams? i just always thought dreams are kind of just, random yk? I think most of them are but sometimes i feel like some of them have a certain meaning for it in the future. Any thoughts on this?
