Generic MK1 + Preamp replacement

Hello.
I am about to change my Cort B4 (2001 ) electronic , and maybe pick ups.
Ideally I would like to be able to get close to a Stingray sound, something punchy and growly, with the possibility to go toward a more classic jazz bass sound.

I was thinking about taking a Glockenklang 3 band preamp , and pair it with a couple of Nordstrand big rig.

Any suggestions?
