Playing near the end of the season is more fun than the start.

So I played through most of season 1 but decided to not play season 2 to take a break from the hamster wheel.

But I got an itch to try season 3 and start s2 couple weeks ago and oh boy it was way more fun than S1

I had so many sparks I could easily craft and catalyst my gear at will and just deck myself out with crafted gear and ignore the vault, increased chest drops too didn't hurt.

Got 3000 m+ and did one heroic raid to get curved (pretended I was 8/8 but read up on the strategy.) and since everyone has played the raid there's alot less bad players as opposed to the beginning of the season. Tanks also know their routes in m+ too. So I basically achieved everything within a week of play.

Since my sub is still ongoing I'll keep playing until the month ends but I plan to stop and play later when I don't have to worry about weekly caps nor have to fall into weekly vault FOMO.

This idea of joining late never occured to me before due to the fomo everyone seems to get but now that I realised this way is actually more fun for me I was wondering if there's actual players who play like this?
