Looking for a basic budget subwoofer for my PC. Options?

I have a cheap $25 soundbar from Amazon hooked up to my PC, and to be perfectly honest it sounds really, really good, with the exception of a lack of bass.

So, I'd like to add a subwoofer. My motherboard does have a separate 3.5mm line out for a subwoofer.

Anything decent for less?

Could I possibly buy a 3.1 PC speaker set that includes two satellite speakers and a sub and use just the sub from that set? Example here:
