Doing uber with another phone

Hi everyone, i recently got a new phone and i really don't wanna use it for doing uber eats, it's new and expensive and i prefer to keep it for taking photos of my cats and videocalling and gaming haha. I wanna use my current one for delivery but the problem is that my SIM card will not be in the old phone anymore so i don't know how i am gonna be able to call a costumer or costumer service if needed since we get connected automatically and can not access their private phone number so i can dial it with another phone. I am thinking of getting a new number just for uber but i would have to pay monthly for it and it's a new bill i prefer not to add. What do you guys think? Has anyone had the same issue with using another phone than their main one?
