What would you pay for an s52

tldr; A while ago my s52 skipped timing. I wanna get another one to engine swap. What do you think would be a decent price for one under 200k?

I've been browsing marketplace for a used s52 and found some but they were taken before I could get to them. On a fb e36 group, some company is posting parts there and I messaged and they said they had a running s52 with 55k miles and would sell it for $2.5k. Does this seem reasonable to anyone? It almost feels too good to be true to me. Idk if anyone has heard of RMUSA but they seem to be a prominent e30/e36 parts company.
