Diarrhea a week after stopping Miralax?

I went to the emergency room on Monday, August 4, for abdominal pain so severe I could not walk (and I have a history of ovarian torsion so I had to go anyways). I had an ultrasound and CT scan with contrast, and the results were that I have an ovarian cyst but what was causing the symptoms was a "moderate colonic stool burden." I'd been constipated for a while, but they discharged me with instructions to take Miralax. I took it starting that day, and had a normal BM a couple days later, and then it turned into nearly daily borderline diarrhea. I hate it. I stopped Miralax on Thursday, August 7, and am still having diarrhea today. Will it ever go back to normal? Not eating or doing anything different than normal.
