I feel the biggest reason why this film flopped was because it had no structure guiding the story, events happened naturally without anything connection, if i had to describe this movie it would be like a heavily story based game like the last of us having gta 5 gameplay where you can do whatever you want and play the story whenever you feel like. The lack of structure is why this film flopped, also i felt the characters-especially prakash raj's character were too shallow and under developed, the entire climax felt too fast and weirdly forced, the movie also had horrible consistency, like the tone would shift from seriousness to comedy.

The biggest reason why it flopped is that, this film in theatres would be a really boring movie for those who expect an action mass film, it had like 2 major fights and rest was just comedy. This may be a weird comparison but i feel kantara was khaleja done right-in some aspects, it portrayal of a regular man as a god was done well and the main antagonists character arc naturally develops unfolding in the climax.

the only good thing i felt was the background ost, genuinely one of the best ive heard after athadu, and bob's character he was very likeable

ill prob get downvotted for this but this is just what i feel about this film overall

unpopular opinion: this film is overrated
