[M4F] Eldritch Ascension

(Looking for someone who can be detailed and descriptive and play multiple characters. A paragraph is the bare minimum per response I am comfortable with.)

It started with Maria White. Her parents came to me after she disappeared at 19 years old. I’m a private investigator, my dad was a cop and part time PI and I had inherited his firm when I was only 23 after his passing. I was good at my job but the situation didn’t make even a bit of sense.

Apparently Maria had come home from work, she had gone about the evening normally but had said she wasn’t feeling well after dinner and went to bed early. She never left her room for the next 3 years. The cops were called but couldn’t or wouldn’t do anything so her parents called me. I went over and started at Cameras. Marias door was locked but that wasn’t a problem for me. I had picked up lockpicking as a teenager. Her room not only showed no signs of struggle but it was perfectly clean. The bed was made, the bookshelf organized and no dust anywhere. Her parents told me that was how Maria made sure her room was before she left in the morning. Confused, I decided to check the security cameras to see if maybe she left in the night. Not a single camera showed her leaving, her car was still in the driveway and in fact I couldn’t even see animals coming and going. Out of options I combed through her stuff after getting permission from her parents. When people say “it was like they just vanished” they are usually being hyperbolic, omitting a piece of evidence that doesn’t go anywhere to make a point. Maria White had just vanished. Nothing indicated any kind of personal issues, mental health issues, threats. I looked through everything. I found her toy drawer, her weed stash, and even more hidden bad dragon toys. I found old report cards in hiding spots I think Maria herself had long since forgotten. In the end I had to tell her parents “I’m sorry but I can’t even figure out how she left the room. I don’t know where to look for her.” They were heartbroken of course but let me go and promised to reach out if anything more was found or they thought of anything. That was 3 years ago and today…..Maria left her room.

Her father called me frantically telling me Maria was back and had come out of her room and I assumed he had some kind of breakdown or something but I went over because admittedly this case had always bugged me. I was shocked when I saw Maria was sitting on the couch but even more surprised because she hadn’t changed. She still looked like she had when she was 19, she still wore the clothes she had worn the night she vanished and they were in the same state as that night. The text wasn’t faded and no dirt or obvious rips. It got weirder, her height had not fluctuated and her weight was the same according to the doc we took her to see. That’s also impossible, a person's height and weight fluctuate slightly day by day and the possibility of it being exactly the same for 3 years was zero. The only thing the doc could find was a tattoo, one Maria claimed she couldn’t see and didn’t remember getting behind her ear. Some strange symbol I didn’t recognize. When I questioned her about where she went she looked at me funny. “I went Nowhere, I wasn’t gone for that long.” Was her answer and upon repeated questioning it never changed. She would never give an amount of time just that she hadn’t been gone long and went Nowhere. I eventually had to tell her parents I was glad she was home but I couldn’t help them get any more answers as it seemed not even Maria had those.

I assumed it was done but two days ago Blair, a friend of Maria’s disappeared. Blair’s parents got my number from Maria’s and called me after again the cops did nothing once again. It was the same thing, no sign of Blair leaving, no sign of struggle the whole thing. This time I did get a lead though, Maria had come over an hour before Blair had vanished and so I questioned her and what she told me creeped me out more than I would have thought anything a 19 year old could. Her eyes glazed over, she got a blissful smile on her face and she said “She went Nowhere, she won’t be gone long.” her answer to where she went, but it got worse when she told me “The coven is forming. They have been excited to meet you.” I couldn’t respond and so I left.

Blair came back today and she just called me. All she said was “See Maria told you I wouldn’t be long.” That was two hours before she left her room. Her parent hadn’t heard anything from her room

I got a text an hour later from an unknown number “The 5 elders of the coven will be assembled before you may embark on your pilgrimage to Nowhere.”

I don’t know what’s going on, but I just got off the phone with another of Maira’s friends' parents and their daughter went into her room last night and didn’t come out. They want me to take a look.

Hey so out of character I am looking to play a rp around an eldritch cult that forms through these women. I’m happy to iron out the basic meta stuff in messages but I left it vague on what is truly going on so we can figure that out together! I’m happy for this cult to go a darker route with extreme kinks or a lighter yet still kinky route. In case it isn’t obvious or PI will be ascending to a higher existence although the details of that will be something we need to discuss. One thing to know, this is going to get weird. If you are thinking it's gonna just be monsters fucking and coming out of portals and traveling dimensions you are kind of correct however that's not all it will be.
