Fonefix/Samsung issues..?

Hi folks, just wondering if I'm been a bit of a Gobshite or been taking for one!? I got a Samsung A55 in December (gift). I've had to get it fixed for the third time! Same issue each time. Now Fonefix want €92 to repeat the repair. "Warranty void" is the only information they give! Have no faith in any repair that would be done at this stage. Has anyone else got such shoddy treatment from them? Any suggestions for what to do next?

What phone would you recommend to replace the Samsung, not giving them any more money.
