Candlelight Concert etiquette

I recently attended a candlelight concert in Toronto. I have been to a bunch of these events before and have always found them to be a lovely experience. Unfortunately, this time was an exception mainly due to the crowd’s lack of etiquette. These concerts are meant to be a peaceful, phone-free experience with photos and videos allowed only during the last two songs. But many attendees ignored this, taking pictures and videos throughout, despite volunteers repeatedly reminding them. On top of that, there was constant chatter and restless movement, which really disrupted the serene atmosphere. It was disappointing to see such disregard for the experience. It was embarrassing to tell them off, I missed a couple of songs from the 60 minute experience. I wont be going again.
