How do I deal with family caring about their reputation

Hi everyone, I'm an Indian woman who loves making comedy videos as a hobby. I had been posting them for a while, until one of my uncles discovered my channel and showed it to my dad. My dad told me to delete it, saying I ruined the family's reputation. I ended up taking everything down, but it's left me feeling really down because I'm passionate about it. I want to continue doing it again, but I'm afraid of the community gossiping or speaking badly about me and my family. I wish my parents had not pressured me to be part of this community. I know it's toxic, and I need advice on overcoming this!!
