Credit card payment

hey guys this gonna sound dumb but I got my first credit card, and I have to pay it off the first time. These are the details

Statement Date: 08/11/2025 Statement Balance: $108.02 Payment Date: 09/02/2025 Pending Transactions: $21.03

Because I have pending transactions left, would that also be part of the payment date or next one.Also is there any downside of paying my balance before my payment date, like let’s say I pay it today ? I kinda got confused with people saying pay off a little on payment then paying rest of it after report is sent to credit bureaus.

It sounds dumb but I’m just a little confused 😭🙏
