Considering taking my 9 year old to a show. Thoughts?
As the title says I am considering taking my 9 year old to their show in Denver. I have a surplus of tickets in a suite that my job gave out, and I’m thinking about bringing my 9 year old daughter along with her older teenage brothers.
I’m a longtime veteran of many, many shows over the years (countless since 1998), mostly death metal and hardcore. I took my boys to their first metal show when they were 14, and they really enjoyed it. However, I’ve only seen Suicideboys once (Knotfest), and I’m not really familiar with their set. I like quite a few of their songs, and my daughter likes the beats and the bass. She can’t understand any of the lyrics so I’m not overly concerned about explicit content.
My question is would I get weird looks for taking her? Like I said before, we will be in a corporate suite and not down on the floor. She wouldn’t be exposed to any weed smoking or other adult behavior. I plan on skipping the openers and just catching SB set. So guys, should I take her?
