Longer-Lasting Wrangler jeans alternatives

I bought three pairs of Wranglers about a year ago and two are holding up fine, but one is coming undone in the crotch. I want to find a pair of jeans that fits the same - high pockets, tight in the waist, crotch and seat, makes my butt look good - but doesn't fall apart so fast. I'd prefer 100% cotton and black.
