Breaks, Sales, & Auctions

Hey all, I am looking for thoughtful responses and hope I can receive just that.

I am a disabled veteran trying to find a hobby to take up my free time. I have always loved sports memorabilia and dabbled in cards lightly. I have always wanted to open a true sports card break and sales company. I know the market is saturated but I can afford to by the high end stuff to do break with to make it worth peoples time.

What is the outlook on another company coming into the market? I would like to do giveaways and eventually do things to generate donations for veterans and children. I am currently working on opening a non-profit for the same causes I just stated so that would partner with the non-profit so the public can see where the funds are going. (All that was future expectations.)

Just looking for insights! I am open to other legit ideas for this as well.
