Can someone give me an explanation here? I'm only on episode 270 so maybe this gets explained at some point in the future, but still...I just don't get it! Thanks in advance for the explanation.

Pretty sure the operative question here is 'yeah sure Vegapunk came up with it but HOW is, for example, a bazooka FED a Fruit'.
I'm sure it wasn't "fed" a devil fruit. VegaPunk is a scientist. And hes been researching the fruit for a long time. I mean, It would be cool to figure out but I don't see it as that big a deal. He probably found a way to fuse them together.
I assumed they mixed it in somehow during the creation process. Like when the sword is still hot its cooled in devil fruit juice (is that a thing?) or during the process of folding the blade the fruit is placed into it and literally smashed in etc.
Hasn't been explained yet. It was teased not too long ago, but I doubt we'll find out for at least another 18-30 months.
