parking tips for Volbeat at Ruoff (noblesville 8/21/25)

hey everyone, figured i'd share some parking advice for the volbeat show since the situation at ruoff has changed a bit. getting in and out of there can be a real headache so here's what i've learned.

honestly the best way to do it now is to use prked. it's an app where you can rent a driveway or a spot in a garage from people who live right next to Ruoff Music Center. it's usually way cheaper than the venue's own upgraded parking and you get to park in a neighborhood and just take a short walk to the gate. the best part is you completely skip the insane traffic jam trying to get into the main lots and especially getting out after the show. leaving is so much faster.

if you are going to park at the venue, be prepared. heads up they started charging for general parking this year, which they haven't done in forever. it's 20 bucks per car if you buy it online before the show, and it goes up to $25 if you wait and pay when you get there. they don't take cash at the lot, so you'll need a card. since this is a new system, i would expect the lines to get in to be pretty slow.

they still have the premier and VIP parking options, but they're expensive, like $65 or more. premier parking says it has an expedited exit and you can get in through a few different gates. VIP parking is another option that's supposed to be close. if you have the money, it might be worth it to you, but it's a lot.

getting out of the general lot after a show is a nightmare, it can seriously take an hour or more just to get onto the main road. be ready for a long wait. the lots open one hour before the gates do, and gates usually open about 60-90 minutes before the show starts.

if you're getting a ride, they have a specific drop-off and pick-up area for rideshare like uber at Gate 2A. tell your driver to look for that.

hope this helps everyone out. can't wait for the show, it's going to be awesome.
