How bad are the rains around dehradun?

I'm mostly sitting at home waiting to go back to college. In the meantime when I'm at home, I usually go hangout mostly between GMS road, Rajpur road, Sahastradhara road and everything in between. And the rains are kinda intense but nothing too intense, but my little brothers school is getting closed pretty much every other day due to heavy rains, so I'm wondering are other parts of dehradun really getting flooded terribly?
