Cara looked over at her husband as the plane began its descent into Teterboro. Their hands linked and she gave Him a soft smile after squeezing his hand. It was a ritual of the two of them. Always holding hands when they got to their destination. He was her comfort, her security and her person. She had never doubted that when the pair first met a year and a half ago.

Their relationship moved fast, but her husband wasn't the type to hesitate. He took what he wanted and got what he wanted. Cara knew that better than most. The slaps, spanks, hair pulling. He held her to the highest standard. But all of that was worth it.

But the bi-coastal lifestyle was getting exhausting. The pair had fallen in love in New York City, her job was in this city. But his business was in California. They had been in San Bernadino for his company's annual thank you celebration. Another year of record profits, gaining a greater portion of the market share and becoming a household name. She was so proud of him. Her job at a big firm made pennies compared to the dividend he had recieved last quarter. The writing was on the wall and she refused to lift her neck to read the message. If it was up to him, she would be pregnant now and helping him build her empire. But she wasn't sure she was ready to give up the last vestiges of her indepdence.
