The swing states were the midwest, new york and new jersey, the south (only for bush and clinton tho), california, and the southern mountain/desert states (arizona, new mexico, utah)

Swing State Analysis: The Midwest leaned Clinton, giving hum illinois, kentucky and west Virginia , and only giving me Pennsylvania and Indiana.
The lower new england areas also leaned Clinton, giving him New York and New Jersey, and only giving me Pennslyvania (idk which region to put penn. in.).

The South Leaned Bush, as he was able to hold states like North Carolina and Georgia by around a thousand votes. Though, he did lose key irl states like arkansas, louisiana, and Tennessee

The mountain/desert region went totally for me, with arizona being the closest state there.

California went to me by about 8 thousand votes, making it the most decisive swing state in the cycle.
