A way for Christians to look at all the "negative experiences/things" that happen on earth (that I think will help).
Obviously feel good and pleasant experiences happen on earth too, this post is only about the "negative experiences" because they are mainly what people have problems with. But keep that in mind as you read through this.
First let's look at the negative experiences that happen on earth in the "physical realm", then we'll shift our focus to the "spiritual realm". I'll start,
-
This earth is nothing more than a criminal rehabilitation centre.
-
So crimes are bound to happen on this earth. Don't expect this place to be heaven.
-
A criminal rehabilitation centre by definition is temporary. After the time allotted for rehabilitation is completed, those who don't get rehabilitated are sent to prison (hell) and the rehabilitated ones enter the civilized society (heaven). As such the only 2 ultimately logical goals to have on earth is that you yourself qualify for the civilized society of heaven and to help as many people qualify for heaven's civilized society as you can.
-
The "only proof" of rehabilitation is that the person learned to love even those who commit crimes against them, and that they loved God despite crimes being committed against them.
-
If you suffer more than others due to people or due to God directly, you'll have more eternal glory than others in heaven, Romans 8:18 - For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 2 Corinthians 4:17 - For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. The verse uses the words "light and momentary" because no suffering on earth comes anywhere close to the sufferings in hell. So even though on earth if you suffer more than others it may seem "unfair" since it is your "present reality", but when heaven becomes your present reality, you'll have more eternal glory than others, and this greater eternal glory will last you for eternity. If you have more eternal glory in heaven than others, your glory will always be greater than them, forever and ever, and nothing will ever change that. Your eternal glory will be visible to all just by looking at you (I had seen a heaven vision video on YouTube years ago where God showed the person the glory of David of the Bible and he was shining with bright light which as a part of his glory, whether the vision was true is debatable, but it gives us a window into such things, and God will have infinite ways to display a person's glory to everyone in heaven). Think "a million years from now" if you're suffering more than others and things will start to make sense.
-
Since there can be drastic differences in the crimes people commit against others, there will be drastic differences in the levels of eternal glories people have in heaven.
-
God also sends suffering directly by Himself to people just to multiply and increase the eternal glory they'll have in heaven. God knows the make up of a soul at any given instant, and even knows the make up of a soul during its creation. God sending suffering seeing the current make up of a soul is comparatively easy to understand, but let's expand the part when He sends suffering seeing it at the point of its creation. If you have been given a disease or disability since birth, if you still love God and others after that, you'll obviously have more eternal glory than those who had a rather normal life. Those who are born in persecuting nations (in some nations becoming a Christian means death), when you make it to heaven you'll have more eternal glory than others in heaven. For those who die due at the hands of other people due to being a Christian will have earned so much eternal glory for themselves during their short life on earth that most Christians won't be able to earn in many decades. If you're born in a persecuting family and are still a loving Christian, you will have more eternal glory in heaven (though in this case God's plan might be to separate from the families too, since this is kinda avoidable). Those who are born lgbt also fall in this category. You've gotta give up on your lgbt lifestyle and even "identity", but by the time you're free from your lgbt lifestyle/identity (through God's help and His omnipotent power), you'll have earned so much eternal glory for yourselves that most Christians won't be able to earn in many decades. So focus on this "greater eternal glory" that God has planned for you rather than the infinitely lesser things like "pride", "fulfillment of lusts", and "erroneous acceptance" that "the world" is offering you (a simple example of the "erroneous acceptance" of the world is a man aiming to be a billionaire based solely on his hardwork without harming anyone. If money is his main goal, even though the world will commend him, God will only see him as steeped in greed). Whichever of these categories you belong to, think "a million years from now", and you'll be able to see this too as God's love.
-
We hold power to reduce people's sufferings on earth to certain degrees, and God will hold us responsible and judge us if we don't do so when it was within our power. So "making this earth as good a place to live we can" falls under this category and the category of "loving even those who commit crimes against us".
-
The most wonderful, beautiful, awe inspiring, and loving God is Himself the greatest gift a man can receive on earth, and "beholding Him" is the greatest earthly experience. And we receive greater and greater portions of the infinite God by obeying Him.
-
Those who are given more talents than others will be expected to do more things than others to receive an equivalent growth in the portions of God than others and will have to do more things to receive an equivalent growth in their eternal glory than those "less talented" than them, Luke 12:48 - From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. So those with "lesser talents (if you understand what the word "talents" means from the perspective of heaven)" will have greater portions of God and will have earned greater eternal glory for themselves within a shorter time and by doing less number of things. Even the lgbt crowd will have earned greater portions of God on earth by the time they have conquered their lgbt nature through God's help (5-6 years? maybe less?) than most Christians will be able to get in many decades. So focus on this great portions of God within a short time rather than the infinitely lower things like "pride", "fulfillment of lusts", and "erroneous acceptance" the world is offering you.
-
Once the purpose of this earth as a "criminal rehabilitation centre" is fulfilled, this earth will be deleted (this earth is obviously not the best God can do), and a "new earth" will be created, and that new earth will be the equivalent of heaven.
Now let's shift our focus and see the earth in the "spiritual realm" and the Gospel message (the Gospel message = God's provisions and solutions for those on earth),
-
Since everyone on earth is basically a (spiritual) criminal being rehabilitated, in the spiritual realm Jesus took all the hell punishment for all of humanity due to their crimes upon Himself, so that the humans who make this payment exchange with him and make Him their Lord will have had all their sins forgiven (single out yourself from "all of humanity" too and see Jesus as having paid for your sins personally too). But this only means that a person's sins have been forgiven, their personality still hasn't qualified or is fit enough for the civilized society of heaven.
-
To help the "born again" qualify by having a personality fit for the civilized society of heaven, Jesus also earned for the "born again" the right to have The Holy Spirit to live within them. On asking The Father, He sends the Holy Spirit (who is God) to live within the born again person, and since The Holy Spirit is one with Jesus and The Father, Jesus, and The Father are present within the Christian too. God then helps the Christian to qualify for heaven and is even ready to use His omnipotent power to transform them into a personality fit for heaven.
-
God also allows satan + demons commit crimes against people either directly or through other people under their influence to test, perfect, and to increase the eternal glories of people. But satan and the demons can only do what God "allows", they're God's dogs on a leash, and through our prayers and preaching and teaching satan + demons' influence and actions on humans can be diminished by us (God does this for us).
-
God has given us a book called the Bible that contains knowledge that shows what qualifies for the civilized society of heaven and what doesn't. It also has great transformative spiritual power and sanctifies the person reading it when it is administered to a person's being by The Holy Spirit, John 17:17 - Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. As such the Bible should be read as much as "possible" (because time needs to be made for basic survival needs, and there's time for prayer and worship, and times to go out and actually do good to others).
-
God's only will for anyone at any given second is to ensure that person makes it to heaven and for them to have the greatest level of eternal glory they can proceeding from that second and to take as many people to heaven through them from that second.
-
So obey God through the Bible, or what other Christians teach you, or what He directly inspires in you, and you'll end up with the greatest level of eternal glory you can have in heaven and you'll help the most number of people qualify for heaven you can .
As I had said, don't forget that pleasant experiences happen on earth too.
I've tried my best to cover all the possibilities, but if anything is left out here, best would be to discuss it directly with God.
This was a wall of text, but I hope it helped someone. The Lord bless you all.
