Long distance for 6 months

Hi everyone. My boyfriend (31M) and I (28F) have been together for a year now and living together in the USA. We plan on getting married. We spent every single day together for the last year and really enjoyed it. My boyfriend has always had a desire to move over seas and I personally do not want that. He’s trying to escape the United States for a while for his sanity due to politics. He asked me to move with him but I declined and stayed back while he left for 6 months. He’s been gone a month now and it’s so hard for me to handle it. I go between missing him, resenting him for leaving, wanting to ghost him out of anger, and wondering if I’m losing feelings. I know it’s hard on him too, but I never signed up for long distance. I would never willingly get into a long distance relationship, but it just happened. I hate how I’m feeling and I’m not sure what to do. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you
