How Should I Study for My Nursing Classes?
This will be my first semester in nursing school and I’m already having a panic attack. I received an invite to one class (pathophysiology) and still have yet to receive an invitation from the rest of my professors. I have a total of five classes and I’m trying to find ways to study but I’m realizing my method will take too much time and will lead to failure. I need an effective way to study because I know spending too many hours on just one class will only take up the time I need for my other classes. I looked at the information for patho, and my professor requires us to read 4 chapters in a week. Then we take a quiz. Then the next week will be about 3 other chapters, take a quiz, and so on. Im not familiar with knowing so much material in such a short amount of time. I really want to do well in my classes and get good grades but I’m truly scared to fail knowing that my classes focuses more on quizzes, exams, and very few assignments.
Please, I would highly appreciate anyone’s advice and your experience in nursing school. How did you plan? What did you do each time knowing that you had to give your full and undivided attention to each class? How did you do this even with simulations and clinicals along with work ?Please if you would like, share!
