Ram 1500 classics?

I recently saw a ram 1500 classic today and was shocked. It had the body of my 2002 1500, and look like a classic, what might be even better was the truck was a slt classic. When did they actually start making the 1500 classics, do they still make them, and what's the overall store about them?
