Commercial - Hanger or Line?

Let's say you(with experience in either or both) had the choice to start at a new company on a new to you airframe and you had a choice to pick between hanger or line work. What would you pick? Greatly appreciate any insight in either field. I am aware that's it's apples and oranges. Hanger, means more time on different systems. Line get that bird in the air so getter off the gate.
