PETLIBRO Upgraded RFID Automatic Cat Feeder lids jam

I purchased three of the RFID feeders, one for each of my three cats less than two weeks ago. Two out of the three feeders are already displaying signs of malfunction, and the lids will not properly close and the app sends me a notification.

What I would like to know if there is a way to DYI a fix. I really like the feeders and I am very happy to have found a solution to entertaining three separate diets for all three cats, but the lid jamming is sadly a deal breaker. There is little point in keeping the feeders if the lids don't close all the way, defeating the purpose of having these feeders in the first place.
