Possibility of being sent to Adult Ed from a charter school?
Hey, I’d like to ask any teachers or anybody that would have experience/history in that field. I am 17 in 11th grade(I failed virtual during covid) at the moment and turn 18 this year AFTER school starts in SC. I am currently enrolled in a new school and it’s a charter school. I was told that after this year I could possibly be sent to Adult Ed instead of being able to finish out my last 2 years of school when I turn 18, I don’t really know what to do about this because it’s a school that I’d really like to go to and I’ve never heard of a school sending students to Adult Ed because of their age. Anybody know if this is true? I’m planning to go back to the school Friday before school starts back and see because I don’t want to do a year then get sent to Adult Ed next year because of my age when I can just go to a regular high school and finish everything without worrying about being relocated because of my age. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
