Finished Buffy for the first time and some thoughts

I went into watching Buffy pretty skeptical expecting to drop it fast...but I get why it has a cult following so many years later.

The characters, their relationships, the acting, and the dialogue are stellar. I know Joss Whedon is a human piece of S**t but wow can the man write dialogue, comebacks, and one liners.

And the characters are all so amazing, unique, and multi-faceted with amazing actors that are able to do them justice. Their relationship developments throughout the 7 seasons and \ the portrayal of true, deep friendship is world class.

On the negative, the plot is rather ridiculous and flat out cheesy the vast majority of the time.

OVERALL - I really enjoyed my time with Buffy and the Scoobies. I have fond memories and will never forget some of the wisdom and portrayal of the good and bad parts of life. I will remember back to scenes and interactions with a smile on my face.
