[TOMT] [children's educational book] [90s-early 00s] Small-size, heavily illustrated landscape format book on reptiles (and maybe amphibians), at least 100 pages

Open

This is driving me nuts. I'm trying to find the book I remember reading around 2003-2004 or so, when I was a kid. It was maybe 6-8 inches wide and 5-6 inches tall, about half the size of a normal book, but pretty thick, I'm guessing maybe 150-250 pages. It would have come from a US publisher.

The cover had a white background, reminding me of DK and Eyewitness books (I don't think it was one but I'm not entirely certain). The pages each were dedicated to different species and other information, essentially encyclopedia-style (not prose), and it was full of realistic illustrations.
