Finding a partner as a non-manly autistic man

I am just wondering if there is anyone who will accept me for me or whether to finally give up hope.

I'm a 36 year old guy who is not and does not want to be traditionally masculine or the leader. I'm not going to resemble anything of what I hear most women typically go for, that said I'm still quite lonely and I feel like there is surely someone who wants to "play opposites" with me, for lack of a better word and also bucks societal norms. I'm autistic, shy, introverted, etc. I much prefer nights in and while I'm willing to go out, I'm not a social butterfly and I'm just not wired that way to be a partier. I don't want to have to be someone else to find love, I want someone to meet me where I'm at and more importantly share my values and someone who is ok taking on the typical masculine/leader role and wear the pants.

I want to know if I have a chance. I'm not interested in being someone I don't want to be, not to mention I wouldn't mask very well trying to be something I'm not. That said, I still want to find my person. I want someone who values kindness, being accepting, loyalty, and the like with common interests.

I've been alone all of my life and I'm not any more ok with it at 36 than I was at 18. I haven't asked anyone out since around that timeframe. And in my day to day life, the women I've met casually haven't shown any interest. I definitely *don't* want to be a creep and I am absolutely petrified of that. I'd rather not even approach out in public if at all possible. I also have had a lot of serious medical issues from birth and bullying trauma growing up that I've had to get over to the best of my ability with help. I always felt like maybe it wasn't meant to be, as hard as that is to accept. That said I will always want it.

That said, I'm not going to pretend to be someone else and I also would rather be alone forever than be with someone who isn't likeminded or isn't caring and is not aligned with similar values. I just was wondering if there is any woman who would not only just be okay with this, but even maybe prefer it and if it's worth putting myself out there again and maybe where best to do that (online, IRL, etc).

Thanks for your input! :)
