Business student planning to shift from accounting (BSA) to bsba major in HR (Human Resource) need tips asap
Background: I am a second year student (first week plng nmin) and I chose accounting because I graduated as an ABM student. It felt like it was a good choice since many peeps said that's it's easier to find a job and malaking chance na tumaas ang sahod. But after a year of studying in accounting, I really am not feeling my course. I would often feel anxious and pressured, like I'm not even looking forward sometimes for my major subs. I am actually someone who's in the creative side and I actually prefer words than numbers. The plan was taking tourism, but due to being anxious what will happen sa future I decided to choose this course. When I found about HR it felt like my skills would align more here. I like to lead, guide and talk to people. I love to organize people and train. I'm still in the process of researching pa if this career path will fit me.
Questions:
- Is it easy to (if ever I graduate an accounting degree) shift from accounting to an HR role in the future?
- Any thoughts about my background and the current issue I'm experiencing?
- Suggestions and recommendations
- Is the HR role in demand?
- As someone studying sa province (not much known school), do I still have the edge with skills alone?
If I ever don't reach the quota grade for the next semester, I will be considering the idea of shifting to Bsba Hr or still accounting but Technology/Management
Current Situation: My mental health doesn't wanna stay in accounting anymore
I posted here because I wanna know your insights regarding sa corporate life and if I'm actually walking to the right path. Thankiee ❤️
