VISA giftcards are wonky

Jut found out today that you cant make in-app purchases with the VISA gift cards, irritated n disappointed because i still have just about 4$ left on the card n i’m not quite sure what to do with it?? (on my iphone it’s saying that the card cannot be verified n my android just says that the card issuer declined the payment which i didn’t even get an email for it) is there anyway to fix this or am i just stuck figuring out what i can even buy for 4 dollars ??
