How do you feel about new BG season?

First of all sorry for all present grammar mistakes, not a native.

I played a lot of BGs at the release, then was inactive and returned in previous season. Start to feel comfortable pretty quickly. Yeah all the staff with trinklets etc was OP, but OP for everyone, so it's ok. I found few good combinations of different tribes and had fun playing my dumpster 6k rating.

Then new season come. Now I overwhelmed and disappointed at the same time, and that's why:

1. quests. They are absolutely disconnected not only quest from reward, but also from your current comp. Also numbers sometimes just outrageous, like spend 50 gold of federal reserve bank, or use 25 spells. And after all effort you'll get some pathetic staff as a reward, which feels useless af

2. minions. IDK if shake up like this is usual for every season these times, but I just can't keep up. I only learned all the old minions to became absolute newbie again. It's almost feel like different game. Like I mistakenly log in LoL instead of Dota2: all looks familiar, but unknown at the same time. Why you replace about a half of your entire pool with new staff every 3 month? It's too much.

3. rally. Complete BS, this whole mechanic easily could be replaced with "flip a coin with opponent, one who wins deals 15 dmg to another". Same result, but honest at least.

4. game pace. Firstly at previous season I was disappointed about game speed, everything was so slow, dmg limits, draws, additional armor, some matches felt endless. But then I got used to it and for whatever reason they unbalanced game to state when almost everyone hit dmg caps from the start. I got games, ended at turn 9. It's too fast now.

So overall I just feel like shit playing.
