My buddy and I are going to play a little best of 3 Colluseum game this weekend. I've kind of being going in circles with my list.

He's playing guard and I know he's going to basically load three units of guardsmen up into Chimeras.

So my army has to focus on cracking those Chimera's open fast and not getting shot off the table. Once I do it's nothing but T3, 1 wound guardsmen to mow down and/or melee off the table.

These are the two lists I've been bouncing between.

I like the Terminator Captain one since it gives me a super chunky piece that can eat shots and beat cheeks with that S10 Relic Fist.

I like the Chaplain on Bike list since it juices my RWKs which should also punch hard his Chimeras hard, plus it netted me 55 points. Tech Marine is kind of just what fit, but he's solid in melee and has a grav pistol so doesn't hurt to have him on table.

Both lists have the Intercessors (plenty of infantry clearing shots and sticky); RWKs (go fast plasma and chain swords with conditional anti-vehice); and two squads of Eradicators to melta chimeras and survive against sustained fire with their T6 profile.

In terms of what I've got that I could swap in, I've also got 2 squads of Bladeguard, 2 squads of Hellblasters, an extra squad of RWKs, and some Jump Pack Intercessors.

I'm really not worried about melee so I figured no need for Bladeguards.

Could use some input.

Can't lock in a Colluseum List
