How to access speaker on 1998 furby

I have a limited edition college furby that's been in my great aunt's closet for a while. (Batteries not in so that it wouldn't get damaged or worn out) I just powered on all of our furbys today and the other two talked but this one only moved. It's mouth and eyes moved like the others did when they spoke but no audio came out of it. I looked into it and it's either a bad speaker or something with the speaker membrane. Id love to know how to access it so I could try to fix it.
