It's what the title says! (Sorry Hamish) I've begun to replay the version of season 2 that is on matchmaker. Your choices and therefore route/standing in the villa is partially determined by how well you complete the match 3 games, and progress throughout the story can be very slow, but even with those drawbacks it is so much better than anything we've seen in recent years. No one will EVER do it like the season 2 characters for me. It's such a reprieve from the modern formula, and I don't find myself getting annoyed at the story or writing. I thought that part of the season 2 appeal was from nostalgia, but I was so wrong. RIP og litg, we miss you more than anything.
