Update and interesting findings

Even with all the going on, recovery has been uneventful until last week. Before surgery, I was having stomach issues. It was always gurgling and had excess gas. After reading the sub, I was trying to see if this would be resolved after surgery. Well, last Wednesday I ended up in the ER with stomach pains. Long story short I had a small bowel obstruction. They were able to clear it with out an additional surgery but with a 2 day hospital stay.

The interesting thing is, my doctor said people who have had multiple abdominal surgeries are more susceptible to bowel obstructions. I know a lot of us have had endo excisions. So please be careful.

Interesting, I thought I was still swollen from surgery. I haven't been able to comfortablly fit any of my work pants since surgery, some not at all. After I got out of the hospital I tried on my pants and they fit! All in all, I'm still happy I decided to have surgery.
